Tribulation is a heavy metal band from Arvika, Sweden, formed in 2005. Originally rooted in death metal, the band gained attention with their debut album The Horror in 2009, followed by The Formulas of Death in 2013. With the release of their third album Children of the Night in 2015, Tribulation began exploring a darker mix of gothic rock, black metal, and traditional heavy metal influences, paired with occult and supernatural themes. Their evolving sound has been described as blackened goth metal.
