The Ting Tings are an English indie pop duo from Salford, Greater Manchester, formed in 2007. Composed of Katie White and Jules De Martino, they are known for their energetic sound and catchy hooks. Their debut album, We Started Nothing, was released in 2008 and reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. The record featured hits like "That's Not My Name" and "Shut Up and Let Me Go," earning them widespread acclaim, a MTV Video Music Award, two Brit Award nominations, and a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
