Kristian Matsson, known as The Tallest Man on Earth, is a Swedish singer-songwriter born in 1983. Raised in Leksand, he started his solo career in 2006 after leading the indie band Montezumas. His folk-inspired music, often compared to Bob Dylan, features intimate home recordings and a distinctive, expressive style. With seven albums and four EPs to his name, he is acclaimed for his magnetic live performances. Matsson has also collaborated with fellow musician Amanda Bergman, composing music for the Swedish film Once a Year.
