The Mighty Diamonds were a renowned Jamaican harmony trio known for their roots reggae sound and strong Rastafarian influence. Formed in 1969, they gained widespread recognition with their classic 1976 album Right Time, produced by Joseph Hoo Kim, and the acclaimed 1979 release Deeper Roots. The group disbanded in 2022 following the deaths of lead singer Donald Tabby Shaw and member Fitzroy Bunny Simpson.
