The Ethiopians were a popular Jamaican harmony group known for their memorable hits during the late ska, rocksteady, and early reggae eras. Active from the mid-1960s to the early 1970s, they played a key role in shaping Jamaican music and were among the first groups from the island to perform extensively in Britain.
