Tesseract is a British progressive metal band from Milton Keynes, formed in 2003. The group features Daniel Tompkins on vocals, Alec Kahney on lead guitar and production, James Monteith on rhythm guitar, Amos Williams on bass and backing vocals, and Jay Postones on drums. Recognized as pioneers of the djent movement, Tesseract is signed to Kscope and has released five studio albums, including One, Altered State, Polaris, Sonder, and War of Being. Their discography also includes notable live albums and EPs, highlighting their innovative approach to modern progressive metal.
