Portable 4-channel solid-state recorder that was designed specifically for DSLR filmmakers and videographers – it fits perfectly under a DSLR camera rig, so they do not have to rely on bulky recorders or the limited audio quality of the camera’s microphone. Up to four channels at a time can be recorded to the internal SD Card (up to 32 GB), at up to 96kHz/24-bit WAV/BWF file resolution, and with multiple recording modes (Four Channel, Dual Recording Mono/Stereo, Mono, Stereo). Recorder provides a variety of functions, including Delay for microphone distance adjustment (up to 150 m), M-S decode function with Slate tone generator (auto/manual), Auto-record function for automatic start and stop of the recording at set level, Pre-recording function, Self-timer function, Jump Back and Play function, and many more. Ultra-HDDA preamps deliver the cleanest and quietest operation in their class while delivering up to 64 dB of gain – ideal for any type of microphone (ribbon, condenser, dynamic). Two of the microphone inputs utilize locking XLR connectors with 48V phantom power, the other two utilize an 1/8” stereo connector for wireless and lavaliere microphones. A Camera Output sends the microphone mix to the camera for later synchronization, and a Camera Input is provided for monitoring playback. An additional headphone output and line output assist the crew during filming, as well as USB 2.0 connection for high-speed transferring of files. Recorder also features Soft-Touch Rubber Keys for silent operation, HOLD switch to prevent accidental operation, QUICK button feature for easy access to various functions, 128 x 64 pixel LCD with backlight, and a 50 mW/ch headphone amplifier. Internal mixer provides PAN and LEVEL controls, a low-cut filter and a limiter. The enclosure features a tripod mounting socket (bottom) and a mounting screw attachment (top), while its handles protect the screen and can be used to attach a shoulder strap.
