Tama PAL146 Starphonic 14" Aluminium

Fantastic and very versatile drum that can suit various musical styles! Clear cutting sound with wide tuning range. Very defined and sensitive yet loud if needed. If tuning is done properly it's not to ringy and overtones can be controlled with ring that comes with it but I prefer not to muffle it. High quality hardware with modern features. Very recommended. For this price point I think it's the best aluminium snare drum on the market.
