Superfly is a Japanese rock act that began in 2007. Originally a duo, Superfly now centers on Shiho Ochi as vocalist and lyricist, with founding guitarist Koichi Tabo remaining involved as a composer and occasional lyricist. The act's first two albums received double platinum certification, and their first four releases all debuted at number one on the Oricon Weekly Album Charts, setting a new record for female artists in Japan.
