Sudan Archives is a Los Angeles-based musician known for blending R&B, electronic, and experimental sounds with her unique violin playing and soulful vocals. Originally from Cincinnati, she taught herself to play the violin as a child. Signed to Stones Throw Records, she has released two acclaimed albums, Athena and Natural Brown Prom Queen, and received two Libera Awards in 2023 for her innovative contributions to music.
