The Spezializtz are a hip hop duo from Berlin, made up of Oliver Harris and Dean Dawson. They gained recognition with their debut album G B Z Oholika, particularly for the tracks Kennst ja and Afrokalypse featuring Afrob. While the album did not chart significantly, they built a strong reputation through tours across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland alongside artists like DJ Tomekk. Their 1999 single Nutten featured DJ Thomilla and Hausmarke. In 2000, their track T W I N L K became a commercial success. After celebrating their tenth anniversary in 2005, the Spezializtz returned to the stage at Splash festival, toured with Busta Rhymes, and began working on a new album.
