• Go Direct for Various Applications:
  • On Stage: Integrate Amp Academy into any pedal chain and connect directly to a mixer or PA system for outstanding live tone. Monitor through the in-house system or in-ear monitors. For a personal stage monitor, connect to a powered FRFR speaker. When using with a guitar amp, toggle the IR OUT switch to the DOWN position to bypass the IR signal.
  • In Studio: Connect directly to a recording interface for instant, high-quality guitar tone without needing an amp or microphones. Toggle IR OUT switches to the UP position for IR signal with 1/4” out. For DI OUT, hold the A/B footswitch and power the pedal (IR ON: A/B indicators flash 3 times; IR OFF: A/B indicators do NOT flash).
  • At Home (Silent Practice): Connect headphones or monitors directly to the 1/8” PHONE OUT for immersive classic amp tones in a natural-sounding room.
• Amp Models & IR: Amp Academy features 6 legendary amp models including Vintage (Fender Twin Reverb), Classic (Fender Vibro King), Modern (Mesa Boogie Mark I), Brown (Friedman HBE), Red (Mesa Dual Rectifier), and Iridium (Bogner Uberschall). The iconic TSAC-2K (WHITE-BOX algorithm) Amp Modeling provides realistic amp feel and fast playability response. With the latest V4 firmware, 18 amp models are available (3 options per slot). It supports 1024 samples IR resolution with 3rd party IR loader capacity, including 6 IR slots (with Amp slots), 12 Choptones custom IRs + 16 user slots (32bit/48kHz). The Amp Academy editor automatically converts WAV format, and 10 free factory IRs are available upon software download.
