NOFX was an influential American punk rock band from Los Angeles, active from 1983 to 2024. The group was founded by bassist and vocalist Fat Mike, guitarist Eric Melvin, and drummer Erik Sandin, with guitarist and trumpeter El Hefe joining in 1991. Known for their energetic sound and independent spirit, NOFX never signed to a major label but achieved widespread acclaim in the 1990s, particularly with the gold-certified album Punk in Drublic. Over their forty-year career, they released fifteen studio albums and sold more than eight million records worldwide. NOFX also starred in the television show NOFX Backstage Passport and concluded their career with a farewell tour in 2024.
