Negramaro is an Italian pop rock band formed in 1999 in Salento, Apulia, taking their name from the local Negroamaro wine. After emerging on the Italian alternative scene, their breakthrough came in 2005 at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Mentre tutto scorre." They have released nine studio albums, four of which topped the Italian charts, and are known for hits like "Estate," "Nuvole e lenzuola," "Parlami d’amore," "Meraviglioso," "Basta così," and "Diamanti." Negramaro has composed soundtracks for acclaimed films and earned multiple awards, including an MTV Europe Music Award, three Nastri d’Argento, and two Premi Lunezia for songwriting.
