Magdalena Bay is an alternative pop duo from Miami, now based in Los Angeles, made up of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin. The pair met in high school and collaborate on writing and producing all their music. Their energetic live shows often feature drummer Nick Villa and keyboardist Myles Sweeney. Blending catchy melodies with experimental production, Magdalena Bay draws inspiration from early 2000s internet culture, reflected in their playful visuals and popular TikTok content. Their debut album, Mercurial World, was released in 2021, followed by the critically acclaimed Imaginal Disk in 2024.
