Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser, better known as Mad Professor, is a British dub producer, engineer, and remixer born in Georgetown, Guyana in 1955. Renowned for his innovative approach to dub music, he has worked with leading reggae artists like Lee Scratch Perry, Sly and Robbie, Pato Banton, Jah Shaka, and Horace Andy. Mad Professor has also expanded dub’s influence by collaborating with international acts beyond reggae, including Sade, Massive Attack, the Orb, Gaudi, Marcelinho da Lua, Grace Jones, and Perry Farrell.
