LibreWave Mexican Marimba (Digitalt produkt)

Authentic Mexican Marimba Sound in Your DAW

The Mexican Marimba is a virtual percussion instrument from Libre Wave that captures the warm, buzzing character of a traditional marimba. Recorded at Studio Uno in Oaxaca, every note was sampled across multiple dynamics, mallet types, and microphone positions.

What Makes This Library Different

Most marimba libraries sound clean and orchestral. This one captures the buzz of the resonating chambers — vibrating membranes that give the instrument a synth-like quality. A resonance knob tames that buzz, while three mic positions and two mallet types give full control.

Who Should Use This Library

The Mexican Marimba is the right choice for film composers, world music producers, and beatmakers who need an organic melodic percussion sound with real Mexican character. It works well for traditional Mexican music, cinematic scoring, and contemporary productions. It runs in the Rhapsody Player, which is also available as an AAX plug-in for Pro Tools.
