Kurzweil KP110 — Portable Arranger Keyboard with Triple Strike Piano

The Kurzweil KP110 is a 61-note portable arranger keyboard aimed at beginners and music enthusiasts who want professional-grade sounds in a compact package. It includes the Triple Strike Piano from Kurzweil's PC3 Series workstations, plus a wide library of acoustic and electronic instruments. With 240 auto-accompaniment styles and a 6-track song recorder, this model delivers full arrangements without a backing band.

What makes the KP110 stand out in the arranger category

Two features set this keyboard apart from typical entry-level arrangers. First, the Triple Strike Piano sound is ported directly from Kurzweil's flagship PC3 Series workstations, giving the instrument a piano voice that punches above its price tier. Second, the Performance Assistant mode lets beginners trigger idiomatic guitar strums, broken chords, and phrase endings by playing just a few keys.

Keyboard action, polyphony, and connectivity

The synth-action keyboard with three selectable touch-response levels gives players control over dynamics. 128-note polyphony ensures dense arrangements never drop notes. Connectivity covers stereo 6.3 mm line in/out, a 6.3 mm Hi-Z microphone input, a 6.3 mm TRS headphone jack, USB-MIDI, and one assignable switch-pedal input. Built-in 10W × 2 stereo speakers mean no external amp is needed for practice.

• Keyboard: 61-note synth action with 3 selectable touch-response levels
• Polyphony: 128 voices — dense arrangements stay full
• Preset Sounds: 653 expressive presets including Triple Strike Piano
• Auto-accompaniment styles include 240 interactive patterns spanning country, swing, dance, and traditional world music.
• Recorder: 6-track, 10 user songs with 1 accompaniment + 5 melody tracks

Who should buy this instrument

Beginners, hobbyists, and home musicians who need a portable arranger with pro-grade sounds will find this unit a strong fit. Students will appreciate the Performance Assistant and the 240 styles that turn single-finger chords into full backing arrangements. Songwriters benefit from the 6-track recorder and USB-MIDI for capturing ideas. The 5.3 kg chassis, built-in stereo speakers, and included music stand and power adapter make it practical for living-room practice, small gigs, or travel.

A heritage of realistic piano sound

Kurzweil Music Systems has built its reputation on realistic piano sound, and the product carries that legacy by including the Triple Strike Piano — ported from the PC3 Series workstations — into a portable, beginner-friendly arranger.
