Pitchblack X Pro is not only equipped with true bypass for sound output exactly as it was in the input, but now also includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER.
Most electric guitars use passive pickups with high output impedance. When using a cable, there is a loss of tone after about 6m, usually the high frequencies, and this problem gets worse the longer your cable is. The buffer boosts the signal on long cables to prevent loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear - even when your pedal is off.
ULTRA BUFFER boosts sound quality in bypass mode, so you can maintain sound quality even when using a long cable connected to the tuner or inserting the tuner into a complex effects board.

This tuner comes with easily removable rack mount adapters. In addition to installing this tuner in a rack, you can attach the rack mount adapters to the bottom of the unit and use them as a stand to place the unit on the floor.
There are also output connectors on both the rear and front panels, making it easy to integrate the tuner into your effects board.

With this tuner, you have a choice of multi-colored LEDs for excellent visibility.
There are blue-to-red gradation, green-to-red gradation, and single-color gradation for cyan, green, and blue, a total of five types of color.
This allows you to choose colors and color combinations that suit your taste and adapt them to your studio or stage lighting and color mood.

The Pitchblack X Pro offers very accurate and precise tuning with an accuracy of ±0.1 cent in Strobe mode, making it ideal for situations where the tuning must be absolutely correct, whether performing or recording.

Choose one of the four types of meter display according to your requirements. In addition to the typical "Regular" mode, you can use the "Strobe" and "Half Strobe" modes, which indicate changes in pitch according to the direction and speed at which the meter "flows", so that you can distinguish even the most subtle differences in pitch; and you can use "Mirror" mode to see the two LEDs on the left and right sides crossing towards the center when tuning the instrument.

The Pitchblack X Pro is equipped with a new "just-right tuning" display function, which makes the triangular LEDs on both sides flash when the tuning is correct, which helps with stress-free tuning.

By connecting a standard cable to the INPUT 1 and CABLE CHECK jacks, you can use KORG's own special "cable checker" function to determine if the cable is shorted. This feature helps confirm potential problems and helps prevent cable problems on stage and in the studio.
