Jehnny Beth, born Camille Berthomier in Poitiers, France, is a musician and actress based in London since 2006. Gaining recognition as part of the indie duo John and Jehn, she became internationally known as the lead singer of the post-punk band Savages. Her solo debut To Love Is to Live arrived in 2020 to widespread acclaim. Beth is also known for working with artists such as Trentemøller, Gorillaz, Julian Casablancas, Tindersticks, Noel Gallagher, Romy Madley Croft, Idles, and Bobby Gillespie. In 2021, she released the collaborative album Utopian Ashes with Gillespie. Beyond music, she has acted in films like An Impossible Love, earning a César Award nomination, and Anatomy of a Fall.
