• Handcrafted Gourdless Sitar: Performed by Thomas Flanagan, this custom-made sitar crafted from seven-year-old seasoned wood offers a wide range of articulations, including thumbed and picked plucks, mordents, chikari string strums, whole tone bends, glissandos at varying speeds, and both major and minor tonalities.
• Tampura: Providing the traditional open drone accompaniment, the tampura delivers a unique timbre that serves as a rhythmic and harmonic foundation.
• Tabla and Baya: Performed by Jeremy Dyen, these custom-made hand drums are carefully tuned and offer a variety of strokes such as edge, open, muted strikes, plus multiple pitch bends in different directions and speeds, allowing for authentic rhythmic expression.

With over 2,000 high-quality samples captured using multiple microphone positions (close, room, and ambient), Sitar Nation offers versatile sound shaping options. Its interface allows precise control over mic mixes to tailor the ambience and presence to your needs.
