Innovative electro-acoustic guitar from AEW series that features thinner, amplification-friendly body with AEW shape which makes it perfect choice for gigging singer-songwriters. A “soft” Florentine cutaway provides easy accessibility all the way to the 17th fret. Body, sides and top of the instrument are all made of exotic figure ash wood that delivers a distinctive tone and appearance that will garner attention and inspire the imagination. Top board further features a wooden multi-purfling and maple rosette, while body binding is made of rosewood. Mahogany neck with dovetail joint is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 250mm radius, 20 frets and maple dot inlays. Scale length is 648 mm, nut width is 42 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Fishman Sonicore pickup and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with on-board tuner that deliver excellent reproduction and control of tonal characteristics and easy operation, while 1/4" and XLR outputs provide options for a variety of direct plug-in applications. A 9V battery is required for preamp’s operation. Other features include a rosewood bridge with black plastic pins, chrome die-cast tuners with black knobs and D’Addario EXP11 Coated 80/20 Bronze, Light strings (.012-.053).
