Hana Vu is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter of Vietnamese and Korean heritage, known for her moody indie rock sound. She began writing songs in childhood and was performing live in L.A. venues by 14, eventually opening for acts like Soccer Mommy and Wet. After posting music on SoundCloud and Bandcamp, she released her self-produced debut EP, How Many Times Have You Driven By, in 2018 at age 17, on Luminelle Recordings. Before this, she collaborated with Willow Smith on "Queen of High School." In 2019, she released the double EP Nicole Kidman / Anne Hathaway, inspired by her favorite actresses, with artwork she created herself. Vu has been recognized by outlets like NME as a compelling new voice in indie music. She is currently based in Echo Park, Los Angeles.
