The Gotoh 510-TS-FE1 is a beautifully designed two-point tremolo system, with features that eclipse old-school vintage units.
The bar on this unit pushes into an adjustable nylon collar. This means perfectly smooth back and forth travel, without the "slop" that plagues vintage-style screw-in bars. The posts have an inner hex screw that locks them firmly within the studs, for a more solid feel, and better vibration transfer between the strings, bridge, and body. Trembuckers and F-Spaced humbuckers are not required.
