New Found Glory is an influential American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. Originally known as A New Found Glory, the band currently features Jordan Pundik on lead vocals, Ian Grushka on bass, Chad Gilbert on guitar and backing vocals, and Cyrus Bolooki on drums. Longtime member Steve Klein departed in 2013. New Found Glory rose to prominence as pioneers of pop punk’s second wave, blending punk melodies with energetic hardcore influences. Their breakout came with the album Sticks and Stones in 2002, driven by hits like My Friends Over You. With a discography of twelve studio albums, including fan favorites Catalyst, Coming Home, and Forever and Ever x Infinity, the band is widely credited as a major influence on the pop punk and easycore genres. Known for catchy melodies and lively anthems, New Found Glory are often regarded as the godfathers of modern pop punk.
