Glenn Hughes, born in 1951, is an English rock musician recognized for his powerful vocals and bass playing. He gained prominence with Trapeze and later joined Deep Purple's Mk III and IV lineups. Hughes also briefly fronted Black Sabbath in the 1980s. Alongside an active solo career, he has led supergroups such as Black Country Communion, California Breed, and The Dead Daisies. In 2016, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Deep Purple.
