Giusto Manetti Battiloro Cimabue Pensel N 4 (14 mm)

Gilding brush. The professional gilding brush from the Cimabue series is made from synthetic bristles and fitted with a nickel‑plated brass ferrule. It is designed primarily for applying mixtion onto wooden surfaces, where smooth, controlled, and clean adhesive application is essential before laying gold leaf.

The synthetic bristles provide a smooth, even stroke without unwanted marks and maintain their shape even during extended use. Thanks to their softness and flexibility, the brush is ideal for surfaces requiring precise coverage without streaks or irregularities.

The short wooden handle offers stability and a comfortable grip, which is crucial in wood gilding for maintaining precise control over hand movement.
