The Four Seasons are an iconic American pop and rock band that formed in 1960 in Newark, New Jersey. Known for their signature harmonies and chart-topping hits, they became one of the best-selling music groups in history, with around 100 million records sold worldwide. The classic lineup featured Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi, all New Jersey natives. The band enjoyed major success in the 1960s and a resurgence in the 1970s with lineup changes, while Valli and Gaudio remained central figures. Their enduring legacy is recognized by inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Frankie Valli continues to lead the group on tour, with the final tour planned for 2025.
