Floyd Rose RT100W Rail Tail Tremolo Wide Chrome: Retrofit Stability for Strat Guitars

Installing the Floyd Rose RT100W Rail Tail Tremolo Wide Chrome means Strat-style guitars receive a modern upgrade in both tuning stability and tremolo action. Built as a full-contact, dive-only system, this model retrofits existing 6-point Strat tremolos by blending the secure feel of a hardtail with the flexibility of a tremolo. The rail-based system reduces friction points, delivering expressive pitch control while keeping tone and tuning reliable.

What Makes the Rail Tail Stand Out

Unlike bevel-based systems, this model's rail-mounted plate rotates on a precision rail, which enhances tuning retention and helps maintain open-string pitch when bending another string. For adaptable setups, players benefit from slotted string block mounting holes and roller-fitted saddles, making operation smooth and setup versatile.
