Little Feat is a rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1969 by Lowell George and Roy Estrada, both previously with the Mothers of Invention, along with Bill Payne and Richie Hayward. By the early 1970s, the group’s classic lineup included Kenny Gradney, Paul Barrere, and Sam Clayton. Known for blending rock, blues, funk, and country, the band initially disbanded in 1979 after George’s departure and passing. Little Feat re-formed in 1987 with surviving members and has continued to perform and record since.
