Ezra Collective is a London-based jazz quintet featuring drummer and bandleader Femi Koleoso, bassist TJ Koleoso, keyboardist Joe Armon-Jones, trumpeter Ife Ogunjobi, and saxophonist James Mollison. Formed after meeting at the Tomorrow's Warriors youth programme, the group is known for blending jazz with afrobeat, calypso, reggae, hip-hop, and soul influences. Ezra Collective often collaborates with other key figures from London's jazz scene and has earned major acclaim, winning the 2023 Mercury Music Prize and becoming the first jazz band to take home "Group of the Year" at the Brit Awards in 2025. Their single "God Gave Me Feet for Dancing" was also recognized by Barack Obama as one of his favourite songs of 2024.
