Two channels combine to deliver pure tube power that can deliver across any genre. The Green channel boasts an overdrive button to run from lush clean tones to increased gain, while the Red channel’s burn button adds fiery crunch for blistering leads.
Tone for days is yours for the taking with a comprehensive control layout. Independently dial-in volume and gain for Ch. 1 and 2 for level matching. Ch. 2 features a noise gate control to suppress any hiss while ensuring all staccato riffing is articulate and crisp, not choked and choppy. Shared EQ controls allow you to adjust Low, Mid and High. A global presence knob creates full control over ultra-high frequencies, while the global resonance knob adjusts the power amp’s low frequency response. The Boost control allows you to add another 10Db of foot-switchable volume to your tone.
Two JJ ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes erupt with mega overdriven tone when pushed to the max, while two JJ 6L6 power tubes up the ante with plenty of saturated, high-gain attitude synonymous with Van Halen. A single 12” custom-designed EVH® Celestion® speaker has been voiced specifically for this preamp circuit, so that the pristine cleans and searing high gain tones are tight, clear and articulate.

This amp also features a 2-button footswitch that allows you to quickly toggle between the channels or engage the boost button. A speaker-emulated DI XLR (line out is located on rear panel) with power amp mute allows for accurate all-tube EVH tone for recording direct or using through any PA system.
