It features a supercardioid polar pattern and has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. This microphone capsule provides high separation from nearby sound sources and 160 dB SPL handling, making this vocal capsule suitable for PA amplification and recording purposes.

The d:facto II vocal microphone capsule is built with a 3-stage pop protection grid, internal shock mounting, and electronics capable of handling high voltage from the capsule.
