Don Henley is an influential American musician best known as the drummer and co-lead vocalist for the Eagles, the best-selling American band in history. As a founding member and the group’s only continuous member, he is the voice behind iconic Eagles songs like Hotel California, Desperado, and One of These Nights. After the Eagles initially disbanded in 1980, Henley launched a successful solo career with hits such as The Boys of Summer and Dirty Laundry. Across his work with the Eagles and as a solo artist, he has released numerous top 40 singles and multi-platinum albums, winning multiple Grammy and MTV Video Music Awards. Henley has also been active in environmental advocacy, most notably through the Walden Woods Project. Since the mid-1990s, he has balanced his solo work with ongoing Eagles tours and recordings.
