The slightly bigger brother of the world famous Denis Wick trumpet straight mute. Since it was first designed in 1968 the design has become the byword for quality and has become the standard bench mark mute. The mute is perfectly in tune in all registers, a great feel which doesn’t affect the ‘blow’ of the instrument, and the ability to produce a searing fortissimo as well as controlled pianissimo. The reason for the success of this Denis Wick mute lies partly in the brilliance of the design and partly in the care and precision of the manufacture.
