Bought to use on a pair of DT1990, The sound is not what I was expecting :D The DT1990 became bass canons, and the sound changed completely. The Velours are way better if you want to keep the beyer signature but add some bass, larger stage, and smoother highs.

They are ok as construction. They feel ok. Not looking as suede more as a rough velur but they are pretty fine and soft. They will definitely modify the sound, Will increase some the bass and tame highs but they also tame the mids this I do not wanted ...I use them on meze 109 pro. They fit but being round not perfectly.
