Carla Bruni-Sarközy de Nagy-Bocsa, born in 1967 in Italy, is an Italian-French singer, songwriter, and former fashion model. After moving to France as a child, she became a leading model in the late 1980s and 1990s before turning to music. She gained acclaim with her debut album, Quelqu'un m'a dit, in 2003, which remained among the top albums in France for many weeks. Bruni has released multiple successful albums and has written songs for other artists as well. She served as France's first lady from 2008 to 2012 and continues to be active in music and fashion, including a notable appearance in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2024.
