Blackfield is a collaborative music project formed by English musician Steven Wilson, known for founding Porcupine Tree, and Israeli rock artist Aviv Geffen. Blending art rock and melodic pop, the pair have released six albums together. Their first two albums feature an equal partnership between Wilson and Geffen, while subsequent records see Geffen taking a more central creative role, particularly on Welcome to my DNA, Blackfield IV, and For the Music. The project is noted for its atmospheric sound, evocative songwriting, and the unique collaboration between its two members.
