Andrea Corr, born 17 May 1974, is an Irish musician and actress best known as the lead singer of The Corrs, the Celtic folk rock and pop group she formed with her siblings Caroline, Sharon, and Jim. In addition to her distinctive vocals, she plays the tin whistle, mandolin, ukulele, and piano. With The Corrs, Andrea has released multiple successful albums and toured worldwide. She has also released solo work, including her debut album "Ten Feet High" in 2007, which embraced a dance-pop style, and a covers album in 2011 inspired by music from her youth. Beyond music, Andrea is active in charity, supporting causes including AIDS awareness, children's welfare, and disaster relief. In recognition of her artistic and charitable contributions, she and her siblings were honored with MBEs in 2005.
