H16 is a hip-hop group from Bratislava, founded in 2003. Their name comes from the address of a primary school in Petržalka, Hálova 16, where members attended and which closed in 2004. Influenced by Southern US rap, H16 has released five albums and produced twelve music videos, collaborating with artists like Rytmus, Ben Cristovao, and Elpe. Their debut single was released in 2004, followed by their successful first album Kvalitný materiál in 2006. Members have participated in side projects and solo work, including Majk Spirit’s project ESO and collaborations with notable names in the Czech and Slovak music scene. H16 is known for their dynamic approach to hip-hop and creative music videos.
