Finntroll is a folk metal band from Helsinki, Finland, known for blending black and death metal with the upbeat rhythms of Finnish humppa. Their music stands out for its unique energy and for being mostly sung in Swedish, a choice made by the original vocalist Katla to capture the band’s mythical, troll-inspired vibe. Over the years, Finntroll has remained dedicated to this style, despite lineup changes.
