Dead Poet Society is an American rock band that originated in Boston in 2013 while its members attended Berklee College of Music. The group, now based in Los Angeles, consists of Jack Underkofler on vocals and guitar, Jack Collins on guitar, Will Goodroad on drums, and Dylan Brenner on bass. Known for their "heavy indie rock" and "djent pop" sound, they blend powerful, down-tuned guitar riffs with melodic, pop-influenced choruses. After first making waves in Mexico thanks to blog recognition and national tours, Dead Poet Society gained traction in the United States by opening for acts like Andrés and Badflower. The band self-produced their early work before signing with Spinefarm Records, releasing their debut album in 2021.
