The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band formed in Helsinki in 1994 by a group of school friends. Known for their energetic style and catchy melodies, they gained international recognition with their 2003 hit single In the Shadows. The band has sold over 5 million albums worldwide and won several notable awards. Over the years, their lineup has changed, with original members Lauri Ylönen and Eero Heinonen now joined by Aki Hakala and Emilia Emppu Suhonen. In 2022, The Rasmus represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Jezebel.
