The La's were a Liverpool-based rock band active mainly from 1983 to 1992. Known for their classic single "There She Goes", the group originally formed around Mike Badger before singer and guitarist Lee Mavers became the driving force. The band is best remembered for Mavers and bassist John Power, though its lineup changed frequently, featuring musicians such as Chris Sharrock and Neil Mavers. Their only album, released in 1990, gained critical praise and remains influential in British indie rock. After Power’s departure and a lengthy hiatus, the band briefly reunited several times but have not released any new material.
