PSD Guitars LSP-100 Yellow Elektrisk guitar

Singlecut Electric Guitar with Classic Les Paul DNA

The PSD Guitars LSP-100-YO brings the iconic singlecut electric guitar formula to players seeking warm, resonant tone at an accessible price point. Built around a solid mahogany body capped with a flame maple veneer, this model delivers the thick, sustaining character that has defined the singlecut category for decades. The polished yellow finish gives it stage-ready visual punch, while the set-neck construction maximizes vibration transfer between neck and body. Right-handed players receive a full-size instrument that ships with an instrument cable, ready to plug in and play from the moment it arrives.

What Sets This Singlecut Apart

Few guitars in this price range combine a flame maple veneer top with a true set-neck joint and Alnico humbuckers. Pearloid block inlays on the rosewood fretboard add a vintage-inspired touch that matches the ivory binding around the body edge. A dual-action truss rod with an included adjustment key means the neck can be fine-tuned at home without a trip to a technician.

Body Materials — The Foundation of Singlecut Tone

Mahogany has long been the cornerstone wood for singlecut electric guitars because of its dense, resonant nature and warm midrange response. The flame maple veneer top adds visual depth and a subtle brightness to the overall tonal profile without overwhelming the mahogany's fundamental voice.

• The body is crafted from dense mahogany to anchor the low end and provide a warm, resonant foundation.
• Top Material: Flame Maple Veneer — decorative layer adding figure and high-end sparkle
• Finish: Polished — high-gloss lacquer protecting the wood and highlighting the flame pattern
• Construction: Set Neck — glued neck joint for improved sustain and resonance transfer

Neck Specifications — Comfort and Reach

The C-profile neck shape sits comfortably in the hand for both chord work and lead playing. A 629 mm scale length gives the strings enough tension to feel responsive without being stiff, while the 43 mm nut width accommodates fingerstyle players and pickers alike.

• Neck Material: Mahogany — matches the body for tonal consistency and structural stability
• Fretboard Material: Rosewood — smooth, dark fingerboard with warm tonal character
• Scale Length: 629 mm — standard singlecut scale for familiar string tension
• Nut Width: 43 mm — comfortable width for most hand sizes
• Frets: 22 Medium Jumbo — accessible upper-register notes with a modern playing feel
• Fretboard Radius: 350 mm — flatter radius suited to bending and lead work

Pickups and Hardware — Signal Chain Details

Alnico humbuckers are known for their warmer, more vocal character compared to ceramic alternatives, making them a natural fit for blues, classic rock, and hard rock tones. The passive electronics keep the signal path simple, while the Tune-O-Matic bridge and die-cast tuners work together to keep the guitar in tune through aggressive playing.

• Pickup Configuration: HH Alnico Humbucker — dual humbuckers for thick, noise-resistant output
• Controls: 2x Volume, 2x Tone, 3-way switch — independent volume and tone per pickup with classic pickup selection
• Bridge: Tune-O-Matic — adjustable saddle bridge for precise intonation
• Hardware: Chrome — durable finish that complements the yellow body
• Strings: Nickel Plated Steel, 010–046 — light-to-medium gauge suitable for beginners and intermediate players
