Nile is an American death metal band formed in 1993 in Greenville, South Carolina. Blending technical ferocity with lyrical themes drawn from Egyptology and H. P. Lovecraft, Nile has become known for their distinctive, atmospheric sound. The group’s current members are Karl Sanders, George Kollias, Brian Kingsland, Dan Vadim Von, and Zach Jeter. Over their career, they have released ten studio albums, with their latest record, The Underworld Awaits Us All, arriving in August 2024 on Napalm Records.
