Moondrop Para 2 — Full-Size Planar Headphone with a 100 mm Diaphragm

The Moondrop Para 2 is a full-size open-back planar magnetic headphone designed around a large 100 mm diaphragm and Moondrop's FDT (Full Drive Tech). The 1.2 μm ultra-thin diaphragm uses secondary diaphragm stress balance technology, and an N55 magnet array optimized by finite element analysis drives it evenly. Scientific tuning gives a natural timbre, a smooth wide-band response and ultra-low nonlinear distortion.

What Sets the Para 2 Apart

High sensitivity and a low 9 Ω impedance make this planar easy to drive from portable DAC/amps as well as desktop amplifiers. The integrated driver-cavity structure keeps the headphone lightweight yet strong, and the full stainless steel brushed finish follows a Bauhaus-inspired industrial design. The sheepskin earpads attach magnetically, so they are simple to replace.
