The Gauge Bundle brings together two plug-ins from Gauge Precision Instruments, developed with Final Mix Software: Mic Locker and Lush Vox. Together they cover microphone character and vocal compression, two key steps in getting a polished recording, and both use the same simple workflow of inserting the plug-in, selecting a setting and adjusting a slider to taste.

Mic Locker: A Virtual Microphone Locker

Mic Locker enhances recordings, loops and samples by adding the tone and character of the world's most iconic microphones. Developed by Dr. Chandler Bridges with Final Mix Software and a team of researchers, its response curves let any track in a session take on the sound of a classic microphone. Just insert it on an audio track, select a microphone model and adjust the slider.

Lush Vox: Para-Comp+ Parallel Compression

Lush Vox is a parallel compression plus processor for vocals and lead lines, developed by Jeff Piergeorge and Dr. Chandler Bridges. Each setting emulates a different compressor and professional vocal chain, with both vintage analog and modern units represented, all controlled by a single horizontal Para-Comp+ fader. Results range from subtle to aggressive, making it a fast tool for recording and voice-over work.
