The newly-updated EC-1001T/CTM is an incredible guitar that offers quality and features not found on instruments that cost much more. It starts with a traditional full-thickness body that is chambered for weight relief, using set-thru construction with a mahogany body and maple cap, 3-piece mahogany neck, and 22-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard, and multi-ply body/neck/headstock binding on body top and back. The EC-1000T/CTM includes a set of EMG 66TW/EMG 57TW pickups with brushed black chrome covers. These “TWIN” pickups are being offered for the first time on a production guitar, and allow users to split the active neck and bridge pickups with push-pull controls for each pickup on its respective volume knob.
