Bose TV Speaker 2nd Gen Lydbjælke

Better TV Sound, Made Simple

The Bose TV Speaker (2nd Gen) is a compact soundbar built to fix the most common TV-audio complaint: thin sound and dialogue that is hard to follow. Inside, right and left speakers are angled to produce a wide, natural soundstage, and a center-channel tweeter is dedicated specifically to speech. The result is all-around better TV audio with deeper bass than the TV alone. Setup takes seconds with the included HDMI cable, and HDMI-CEC lets the existing TV remote control power and volume.

Standout Features

Dialogue Mode is what sets this soundbar apart from the speakers built into most TVs: it enhances speech by separating vocals from background audio, so conversations stay intelligible during action scenes and music. When the TV is off, the same bar works as a music speaker: stream from a phone or tablet via Bluetooth with a single press of the button on the included remote. Older TVs without HDMI ARC can be connected via optical audio (cable sold separately), and a 3.5 mm AUX input accepts additional sources.

The slim plastic enclosure is compact enough to sit comfortably in front of the TV, and it can also be wall mounted with the Bose Soundbar Wall Bracket (sold separately).

Who Is It For

The Bose TV Speaker (2nd Gen) is the right choice for viewers who want noticeably clearer dialogue and fuller TV sound without the complexity of a multi-speaker home theater system. It suits bedrooms, smaller living rooms, and any setup where the built-in TV speakers sound thin. Anyone who watches news, talk shows, dialogue-heavy dramas, or sports commentary will appreciate Dialogue Mode, while the single-cable HDMI setup and Bluetooth streaming keep everyday use simple. For the best sound, Bose recommends placing it centered under the TV on a flat, stable surface.
